A lovely little village on the River Stour (which is tidal) Visit Maiz Cafe for lunch and have incredible tacos. Bop in and out of cute boutiques and charity shops and buy a handful of cheap books. Stay at The Mistley Thorn owned by a lovely Californian Sherri Singleton and have a drink at their new bar The Postie, eat at the hotel restaurant or their Italian restaurant Lucca Enoteca and depart after a lovely weekend feeling lighter and happier.
